Newland EnTech Europe was the winner and supplier of a Containerized ozone generator plant for Axens Group’s for its factory in Salindres (France), on a historic industrial site that it shares today with the Solvay group. This factory is the most important of the 7 catalyst and absorbent production plants of the entire group

This interesting project consisted of supplying a complete ozone generator system, all assembled in a fully automated container.

The system consists of a generator of 2 kg/h from liquid oxygen working at a concentration of 150 g /Nm3, meeting all the standards required by the client. Apart from the ozone generator, this Containerized ozone generator system incorporates all the necessary peripherals to ensure continuous optimal operation. The container incorporates a chiller refrigeration system, an ozone gas measurement system, a surveillance system to detect any type of leak (O2 / O3) and all this directed by a control PLC.

Newland EnTech Europe was in charge of the retrofit of the ozone generators of the ROXO plant. Newland EnTech Europe has supplied two ozone generator NLO – 2 k, with an ozone production of 2 kg/h each one. The plant is carried out under a turnkey contract with installation and commissioning. Newland took care of supplying the ozone generator with its peripherals, telecontrol, control of the plant and all the electrical and mechanical installation.

The intervention in DWP aims to improve the process of water treatment for consumption, taking into account changes in water quality at the source (Albufeira del Roxo) that have occurred in recent years. The modifications in the space, especially through the installation of two new stages, will allow an improvement of the efficiency in the oxidation of the organic material and the absorption of undesirable odors and flavors.

Newland EnTech Europe was commissioned to build the ozonation plant for the elimination of organic matter and maintain the values of Trihalomethanes within the limits.

To this end, Newland EnTech Europe supplied two ozone generators of the latest generation from the NLO range, powered by oxygen, with a unit capacity of 2 kg/h each one.

The installation has two stages of ozone dosing: a pre-ozonation and an intermediate ozonation.

The diffusion of ozone is carried out by fine bubble ceramic diffusers to achieve high transfers into water.

All the control of the ozone plant is carried out by means of a control PLC equipped with telecontrol.

PetroChina Jilin Petrochemical Wastewater Treatment Project

Jilin Petrochemical Company sewage treatment plant to deal with the scale of 6500 tons / hour, the wastewater by biochemical and physical and chemical treatment, the influent COD is greater than 120mg / L, through the ozone oxidation of advanced oxidation, effluent COD less than 90mg/l. The project ozone equipment used four 40 kg/h ozone generator (3 plus 1).

Ozone oxidation process is the use of ozone oxidation of oxidative decomposition of water pollutants, has the following characteristics:

1. Strong ability to oxidize organic pollutants, strong ability to remove organic matter
2. The final decomposition of organic matter for the CO2 and H2O, no toxic and harmful intermediates, safe and environmentally friendly;
3. pH value in the neutral or alkaline can be, without adjusting the pH value of sewage;
4. Ozone generator to electricity and air to produce ozone, no chemical agents, on-site safety and health;
5. The oxidation reaction time is short, the reactor volume is small.

Ozone catalytic oxidation process has good effect, wide application range, mature technology, combined with aeration biofilter, with low operating costs, good treatment and other advantages, is the application of sewage treatment at home and abroad more of the process.

Newland EnTech awarded a new ozone installation in Spain, Cardeñosa DWP.
This installation consists in a retrofit of an old ozone plant with one Ozone Generator of 0,5 kg/h from liquid oxygen. Among the available options it is recommended the installation of a NLO Ozone Generator which combine reliability, high performance and excellent performance under the most adverse conditions. These units are supplied in conjunction with SRS cooling systems that allow the dissipation of the heat emitted during the generation of ozone under safe conditions.
The system works to an ozone concentration of 10% and was prepared to work fully automatically.
The ozone system incorporates a PLC to control the sequenced operation of all the ozone plant components and the ozone dosage in preozonation and intermediate ozonation.
The ozone is dosed as a function of process water flow with an optimization of the energy and oxygen consumption.
All the installation is monitoring in remote mode by our “SENTINEL”. This advanced remote-control system allowing us to control the operation and performance of the system.
