Newland EnTech Europe was in charge of the retrofit of the ozone generators of the ROXO plant. Newland EnTech Europe has supplied two ozone generator NLO – 2 k, with an ozone production of 2 kg/h each one.
The intervention in DWP aims to improve the process of water treatment for consumption, taking into account changes in water quality at the source (Albufeira del Roxo) that have occurred in recent years. The modifications in the space, especially through the installation of two new stages, will allow an improvement of the efficiency in the oxidation of the organic material and the absorption of undesirable odors and flavors.
Newland EnTech Europe was commissioned to build the ozonation plant for the elimination of organic matter and maintain the values of Trihalomethanes within the limits.
The plant is carried out under a turnkey contract with installation and commissioning. Newland took care of supplying the ozone generator with its peripherals, telecontrol, control of the plant and all the electrical and mechanical installation.
The installation has two stages of ozone dosing: a pre-ozonation and an intermediate ozonation.
The diffusion of ozone is carried out by fine bubble ceramic diffusers to achieve high transfers into water.
All the control of the ozone plant is carried out by means of a control PLC equipped with telecontrol.
